Cost - $300 per team

IHSSA Basketball Rules

Details:

  • All players must be 18+

  • Format: Double elimination.

  • Limited to 1st 12 teams.

  • 7-second backcourt violation.

  • No more than 10 players per team.  The opposing Captain can request ID verification on any opposing player prior to the start of the game.

  • 2 Twenty-minute Halves

  • Running Clock except for last minute of 2nd half (unless at least a 15 point lead).

  • 2 Timeouts per half.

  • Players are required to wear Jersey with a visible number.  (IndyBBall jerseys are available on the website for $25).  If a player does not have a numbered jersey.  Administrative Technical will be called for each violation. 

  • Team Captains are responsible for the team and any guests.

  • Captains are allowed to substitute a new player for an injured or player that can no longer participate.  Substitute players must sign a waiver form. 

Overtime

  • 1 TimeOut per team

  • Fouls carry over.

  • 1st OT- 2 minute

  • 2nd OT-1 minute

  • 3rd OT- 1st team with 2 point lead

Forfeits

  • Teams must have 4 players to start game.

  • Team will forfeit game with 15 minutes after scheduled start time.

  • 2 points will be awarded for each minute a team is not able to start game.

Technical Fouls

  • No Foul Language

  • No disrespecting officials

  • 1st technical foul player must sit for 5 minutes.

  • 2nd technical within the same game, the player is ejected for the remainder of the game.

  • 4 technical fouls within a tourney, that player will be declared ineligible to play.
